Innovation in the Public Sector

Capacity development programme based on Agenda 2030

Over the last couple of years, 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ has provided several different education programmes within the framework of the Swedish Institute’s Public Sector Innovation Programme and is running three more during the academic year 2024/2025. The purpose is to strengthen the capacity of professionals to contribute to innovation in the public sector and support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Programmes offered during 2024–2025

Rights-Based Climate Adaptation in Armenia and Georgia

The programme is closed for applications.

Duration of the programme: May 2024–August 2025
Open to applicants from: Armenia and Georgia

This programme aims to enhance the integration of human rights and gender equality into climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction (DRR) in Armenia and Georgia. The programme is provided by The Division of Risk Management and Societal Safety the Faculty of Engineering at 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ and The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) in collaboration with LUCE, the Department for Commissioned Education at 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ.

Innovation in Governance for Urban Nature-based Solutions

Duration of the programme: June 2024– May 2025 
Open to applicants from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine

The programme focuses on governance and leadership innovation in the area of Nature-based Solutions for improved urban environments. It is provided by the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) in collaboration with LUCE, the Department for Commissioned Education at 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ.
