About the programme and the teaching style
Why did you choose 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ?
"I chose 51ÖØ¿ÚÁÔÆæ for its reputation for academic excellence and high-quality education. As a business school, it is well-regarded in Sweden. In particular, my programme stood out because it combines both a business project and a thesis, aligning perfectly with my aspirations."
What do you think of your programme so far? Does it meet your expectations?
"I’m thoroughly enjoying the programme. It offers a nice mix of theory and practical application, which has helped me grow both academically and personally. The programme challenges you to think critically, collaborate effectively, and push your boundaries as an entrepreneur. It has definitely exceeded my expectations."
What is the best thing about your programme?
"The entrepreneurial project is, without a doubt, the most exciting aspect of the programme. It starts early in October with idea-sharing and team formation. From the second module onward, we get to work on our projects actively, applying what we learn in lectures. This hands-on experience provides invaluable insights into the entrepreneurial process and is something you can’t replicate in a traditional classroom setting."
What do you think of the teaching style in Sweden?
"The teaching style in Sweden is highly effective but demands independence. Students are responsible for attending classes, completing readings, and staying on top of assignments. Additionally, there is a lot of group work and discussions which train your collaboration skills."
How international is your programme?
"The programme is incredibly international. With 80 students in the class of 2025 representing 32 nationalities, it’s a vibrant and diverse environment."
Have you been able to gain any practical experience during your studies?
"The entrepreneurial project has been my main source of practical experience. It has given me the chance to turn an idea into a tangible business project. Through this project, I’ve conducted customer interviews, tested assumptions, and worked on developing a business model. This hands-on approach has helped me better understand the entrepreneurial process."
Why should prospective students choose this programme?
"This programme is ideal for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, whether you want to start your own business, work in a startup, or simply gain a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial thinking. It’s not just for aspiring entrepreneurs but also for those who want to broaden their skill sets and explore new opportunities. Entrepreneurship is a valuable skill that is applicable in all circumstances. The programme also equips you with essential skills like problem-solving, innovation, and adaptability, which are valuable in any career path, including corporate roles."
What are the potential benefits or differences in doing a one-year Master’s programme?
"Being in a one-year Master's is effective and efficient. It’s fast-paced and intensive, allowing you to learn a lot in a short time. It is an excellent choice if you want to fast-track your career or further studies. Of course, this also means that a level of dedication is required and strong time-management skills due to the higher workload."
